I've found the plastic pins are rarely a tight fit - the originals had springy metal wire 'pins' that "self adjusted" to hold better, but likely affected the holes over the years [called rust
] all the correct metal retainers [bottom and corners], along with glue in a few places as insurance is a necessity, especially around the dogleg
