Okey Dokey George, gonna twist your arm for a little more information, what parts store are you talking about that would have motors listed by specs?? Did you mean the local auto parts store like Auto Zone or NAPA?? Grainger or McMaster don't have any listings. The only place that I have found 6v motors that are the same as the original was at Chevs of the 40's and they are big bucks, listed as NOS. If I bought one from a/the swap meet it would be subject to the same problems mine already has, i.e., dry bearings, filthy inside in need of dissasembly and cleaning, brushes worn and in need of replacement and comutator needing turning.
