The rear of the grain box on my '50 COE was painted white, and the rest the typical barn red. I have started to notice that many grain beds on mid size trucks with hoists, have the rear painted white. There is a '58 Viking Chevy C50 on Ebay right now that is a good example. Is this because of visibility issues (getting rear ended, backing up at the grain elevator)?? Does anybody know why???
