My experience has been that a mono rides a lot stiffer than a multi-leaf. I think I'd go to the 5" multi-leafs in this case.
I don't have a TF truck but if you measure the distance between your bump stop on top of the axle to the bottom of the frame, subtract 5" and that's what you'll have left for spring travel.
Edit: if your bump stop is attached to the frame, measure down to it's contact point, then subtract the 5".
