I hope I'm not following if you use Mt Tam's method. I'm sure you don't have any anchors strong enough to hold the chains you need to keep it from blowing off when meeting a semi or bus.
That said, and AD cab is nearly 6 feet wide and 4 feet 2 inches long at the bottom quickly extending to 5 feet. It might fit sideways in an F-250 but I don't know about a Tyoater. You'd still have the tiedown problem.
