For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! I have a '59 Frankentruck fleetside long bed that has been changed to 4WD with a Dana 44 front axle from a '74 K 10. We were driving along and the front right started to wobble and just got worse to the point we had to pull over 'cause I thought the wheel was coming off...It felt that the wheel was egg shaped but the wheel isn't bent and it wasn't loose. We limped it back home but over 20mph it would start to wobble and get worse again and pull hard to the right, to the point that I had to keep turning the wheel further and further to the left to keep it straight. I should mention that the truck has the power steering from the K 10 also. Pulling over and stopping seemed to lessen the wobble for awhile but it came back. I had my wife drive it at me from up the road (not sure that was a good idea!!) but can't see anything out of whack. Anybody got any ideas?? Thanks - Jeff
