Hello All!
I've been lurking for a few months and am impressed by the wealth of knowledge shared here. I recently purchased a 53 3600 that was recently gone through, and sports an SBC crate motor and OD auto. Other than that, it's stock. I was pleasantly surprized when I first drove the truck. It had been years since I drove a manual drum brake anything, and the brakes are great (cold, anyway). It certainly rides like an old truck!
This will end up as my daughter's first vehicle and is exactly what she wants. We have some small items and a few safety-related updates to attend to over the next few months and will certainly be spending some time here in the process.
