| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | yes, the rubber is part of the equation .... yes all the various bits of both the latch and striker wear .... and yes the striker position is adjustable, loosen the screws holding one and you'll find it moves up and down, which is to help align the door in the hole when closed [and the main contribution to wear]
