I used a 55 bellhousing, flywheel and pressureplate to install a t5 tranny. Then realized my 6volt starter gears wouldn't work withthe flywheel.So at the time, not knowing any better I had the local auto electric guy modify my starter to install apropriate gear, i now know I could have just used a matching flywheel and starter. Anyway it is a 6volt starter with 12volt gear and 12volt flywheel, the same setup worked all last year-flawlessly,until the 12volt conversion.
