Hey guys, I'm a newbie here, hope someone can help me out. I converted to 12 volts over the winter,everthing went pretty good, until I started her up. Starter now grinds, not everytime but maybe grind 3 times then turn key and starts. Winter before last the starter ws rebuilt and a new gear was installed,not one grind until 12volts. Is the 12 volt firing the startergear out too fast and just mashing into ring gear? I took it apart and cleaned up both gears with a dremel- there were burrs seemed to help but didn't cure it.
