Here are some links to tie rods. Theses are all the same, just different vender's. This is the modern replacement that is a bolt in, they have a straight shaft that replaces the ball stud you have now. If you go to a really modern tie rod, you will need a taper reamer. In the last link from the Filling Station, you will find the replacement tie rod or the rebuild kit for the ball and socket tie rods.

Theses are just an example whats out there. I bought a set of NOS from ebay and had one go bad right away, I replaced them with a new set from Classic Parts (Chevy Duty)

They work really well and seemed to smooth up the steering. My old ones were rebuild and worked OK, but theses are better.
