JNASH, the weakest link in the lower end of a 235 is the rod bolts. I know from experiance that they are weak and have the broken rods and bad blocks to support it. Change the stock rod bolts the ones for the 454 big block and drive with less worry about dropping a rod through the side of the block. Just my .02 worth.
