I have a 48 3/4 ton and I have put a 52 1/2 front axle under it. I was given a 1/2 ton 64 rear end with 3:73 gears and plan on putting it under the truck. I guess I would kind of end up with a heavy half. My intent is to build a driver but wish to get away from the old huck brakes and have a higher gear rearend. Has anyone tried this or does anyone forsee any problems? Thanks in advance for any input, OZ.
