Hello, this is my first post so if something is not correct that is why. I am restoring a 1947 Chevy COE truck. I took the seat frame out to rebuild it. There is a cable that goes around two pulleys on each end. It is a continues loop and doesn't seem to have function. I have other trucks a little newer that doesn't have this cable. Does anybody know what the cable inside the seat frame is for? It doesn't seem to have a function other than for strength.
