I bought an Accel 52000 series breakerless ignition distributor and an Accel 8140 coil for it. The cap that came with mine had male connectors (it was also very flimsy) so I ordered their female cap and rotor kit (ACC-8124 black) along with black spiral wires ACC-5042K from Summitracing.com (you cannot use solid core wires). It now clears the firewall nicely and looks like the original point style distributor. I ran into a problem with hooking it up though. If you want to use the three prong connector you will also need to order a distributor wire lead 110-41331 from Jegs. You will need to call them and they have to order it from Accel. Now for the disclaimer: I have not received the distributor lead wire yet, therefore I have not started the engine up to verify that everything works. It took me a long time and many calls to gather all these parts. I hope this helps you.
