#53442 12/14/2005 1:12 AM | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 324 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 324 | djed50 if you have a torque tube rear end there should be no defference in the 53 and 54 modles of trucks as they both had a 4.11 gear. They did not change until the 55 1st series when they went to the open drive line. I am sure there outhers that can and will verify my information.
