i finally found the tranny that ive been searching for the past 3 years at a local junkyard. (YES!!!) the thing is that it looks like its been dropped tailshaft first into 3 feet of mud. everything is covered in crusty oil soaked mud. how would u guys go about cleaning it so its ready for paint?
p.s. all the gears turn wonderfully, so i really dont want to have to break into it if i dont have to.
