Red,Those were the special order 1 1/2 ton 15000lb. gvw trucks, in my manuals. Never seen one in person. Designated with an "S" on the ID plate.I had an old timer(in his 90's) that retired from the G.M. Truck Factory tell me he remembered less than 50, of those special order 1 1/2 ton "S" designated trucks built, & they were the '47-'54 body style. He said they were for a Vocational application, & not a regular production item. He recalled none in the '55-'59 body style.
