You might as well get another carb. They are a dime a dozen at the swap meets. The 54 up 235 will fit. The earlier ones had a narrower mounting bolt pattern. The latter ones had a different air cleaner mounting. Carbking has a bunch of them on the swap meet section or you could post in the parts wanted. They say money can't buy happiness.
