Speeway is, as it's name indicates, first and foremost a circle track source. All through the 30's, 40's, and early 50's Fords out numbered all the other brands by probably several hundred to one. Even the Miller (Offenhauser) engine is derived from the Model B Ford engine. All quick changes were based on the banjo housing Ford rear end. It only made sense to offer parts for what was then the dominate consumer. All this changed in 1955 with the introduction of the SBC. We ran a 32 Essex with a 308 Hudson Hornet Twin H Power and kicked EVERYBODIES butt.
