For the vertical channel, I got the genuine imitation reproduction fake mohair felt, that reminds me of the LOOP side of velcro. No rivets going here, Bill. At least not without having a rigid-backed liner. I will try to set it evenly in the channel, rather than pulling it back a little flush. From what I've heard, that adhesive is extremely strong. There shouldn't be too much peel force since it extends beyond the glass.
RAK- I got rigid metal-backed pieces the attach on both sides of the gap in the door where the glass slides up and down. I've been watching your posts to learn from your recent experience.
