| | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 71 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 71 | I'm doing the phosphoric acid treatment on misc. parts for my 53 3100. Two items appear to never have been painted. The hood springs which look like a clock spring and the lever/latch mechanism to latch/release the hood. Were these plated with something or what is the correct finish? Any other parts not to paint under the hood?
