My best advice, is DO WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL HAPPY. Don't restore your truck to keep up with the jones'. If you want to put purple running boards on with poca-dots, then do it. If you want to put hardwood flooring in the bed in lieu of original style wood do it. Just enjoy the thing, don't stress over what anyone thinks. That is my best advice to give on this subject.
