I had to go .080 over and the Hasting rings I have say chrome on the package. I wondered why I had bought them rather than Moly and when I checked the Hasitngs web site it looks like they don't make Moly that size, either cast or chrome. I asked the machine shop if they honed for chrome and they told me that honing is almost the same for chrome or moly and they probably honed for moly unless I told them otherwise, which I can't remember now. Anyone have luck with chrome rings, either good or bad? Thanks
