By "Blazer", do you mean K5 or S10? If it's an S Blazer, the crossmember won't work. If it's a K5 (full size) it will be a 4x4, and comes to the same issue. Full size Blazers were only offered as a 4x4 in '86. You could use the crossmember from a pickup or Suburban, though.
