For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 142 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 142 | I have not yet entered into body repair /painting but here is my background. I am a woodworker, I spray different types of lacquer with HVLP. So here is my question-My wife's '99 Honda Accord has a few rust spot on the lower panels. I was thinking about using this as a test area. So after I remove the paint/rust I will prime and then use a base coat and clear coat. My question is on the adjoining areas will I have a problem with the new base coat going over the old clear coat, then new clear coat over everything? Sorry if I am not making this clear. Thanks | | |
