Used parts are worth double, compared to the reproduction parts we are able to buy from a catalog. Do used parts cost more upfront? Sometimes. Do used parts fit, yes. Are used parts available from a reliable source, not always. Depends on how fast you want the job done, availability, and ability to restore the factory part.
