I found a complete good running Chevy 261 to put in place of my 216 that is now in my 1939 1/2 ton. I will be taking the bell housing off to check the clutch before cleaning and painting the new engine. This will be my first time replacing a clutch. What other parts should I be replacing while I have the engine out ? Also will my Fenton headers and dual intake that are on the 216 bolt to the 261. I had to use rings to get the intake bolted to the 216. Do I use the same rings or do I need a different set of rings. And one last question, it appears will I need to relocate the oil filter when I change the intake. Any suggestions ? I'm going to try to do all the work myself.
