This is driving me nuts! Put the passenger side running board on and had to shim it up. The splash apron went on without any trouble, follows the contour of the cab corner well. I go to the drivers side... opposite, no shims under the running board and the splash apron is way too tight against the cab.
Here's what I have done so far- shim the back corner of the cab to allow more room and level up the cab. It's a new Mar-K bed, with new fenders. Every nut and bolt is loose- bed boards, fender, bed mounting bolts. I was able to gain 1/8th of an inch today... grr.. The front of the bed is only sitting on the wood blocks, no rubber... I'm out of ways to adjust things to make more room. I think I may have to slot the bed mounting holes on the frame so i can slide the bed back a little bit. The bed was real close to square though. Or, I can cut the apron down and re-paint it (would rather not). If I hold a ruler on the top of the bedside to the back of the cab, I'm 1/2 inch off from the right side to left side... I thought the cab might be crooked, but I don't think that's it.
Anyone else have this problem?
