Om my 52 i used 3-M Weatherstrip adhesive & a few rivets for the install.
here is what i did.
with the door laying face down on a set of horses i formed the new channel to fit the window opening, now with the new channel attached to the mount inside the lower part of the door and the part around the window opening loose, installed my glass, now with the glass rolled to the lowest down position i put a bead of the 3-M around the frame and set the channel, then rolled the window up and layed a towel on the glass and a brick for weight to keep the channel pushed down flat against the door frame, let it set over night to cure.
Next day i rolled the window down and drilled an installed a few rivets through the center of the channel at bought 6" intervals round the perimeter and one at the end as close to the vent window frame as i could get.
That channel isnt goin NO-WHERE!
Just a tip,
Tim
