Both Toto and I got a work out . The fire truck was NOT liked by Toto at all . It Just fit and there was a lot of weight behind the axle . I could only get around 30 mph +/- ( no working speedo ) and going down hill she ( OZ's Toto actually was a male ) was rather interesting to control and you started to brake Early .
As to the seal problem . I have looked and cross checked/referenced the number/seal measurements but to no avail . E-Bay has several pages of NOS Chicago Rawhide seals but the one I need has yet to show up . My Spicer PTO seal has a 1 1/4" OD round flange ( which goes into the PTO body ) ahead of the 1 1/2" seal housing ( as a single unit ) . Can't find that type of seal set up anywhere . I may have to locate a good PTO to replace the one I have . One good thing the PTO is not that hard to get on / off . ED H
