I have a 1951 brand X, COE wrecker that the PTO shaft seal is leaking some on as well, but quite not as bad as yours. I have not torn into yet but I hope it doesn't have a discontinued seal in it as well. Have you tried taking the OD and ID dimensions to a seal shop to see if they could cross reference it for ya?
