I have a 1959 235 engine replacing my stock 216 and I am usuing a adapter plate to raise the water pump to the center of the radiator and will be using a 1954 NAPA water pump.My Question is the water pump pulley seems to small ,the original 235 pump had a bigger diameter pulley ,has any one had problems with the pump spinning to fast or cavitating?I know Patricks sells a special made pump with the bigger pulley but it is to low on the radiator ,and I like the idea of getting a replacement locally
