cujo8: Now is a bad time for me to be finding out about all this. I have put the motor back together and have it in the truck. The thought of going back and working on a bearing isn't something I'm looking forward to. I think that what happened is that the machine shop didn't do anything about the bushing and I didn't know about it, so the old one is still in there. As I said earlier, the alignment tool fit perfectly, and I think I would have noticed if something was missing. Based on this, I think I am going to go ahead and assume the old one is there. What do you think about this? Am I risking doing some awful damage if I'm wrong? Allen
