I'm thinking about using a hydraulic throw out bearing and 3/4" master cylinder attached to the stock pedal when I put a T-5 in my '51 half-ton using the original bell-housing (and engine). I got the hydraulic bearing and master cylinder from Summit for about $200.

I can't bolt the clutch master cylinder behind the pedal arm because thats where the brake master cylinder is. So I'm going to put it on bracket mounted to the frame rail forward of the cross member and use a rod between the pedal and master cylinder rod to pull the rod into the master cylinder rather than push it.

Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions to offer?
