I'm running a freshly rebuilt 250 I6 and my tailpipe is cut off about 4 inches after my bed starts. My cab smells like gas, and that's understandable because my grandfather recently busted the fuel line going from the filler hole to my gas tank. The "problem" is that my truck, when running, smells like a dadgum gas tank. I've gotten used to it but my friends at school however, have not. I always get complaints of the smell from them when i leave my truck on in the school parking lot in the morning so i can use my heater. Is there anything i can do about this, is there something wrong, or do all older engine fumes have that faint gas smell?
