Military 302's have no provision for a mechanical fuel pump,use an electric pump instead.That,a few un needed lumps on the engine casting,a different front pulley is the primary differences.
A stock 302 rebuild costs about same for a Chevy 261 for example,it all depends on how much work you do yourself and if you're lucky at scrounging parts.
