The harness looks pretty sturdy but the weak link may be your stock seat. Does your seat back fold forward?
If you feel your seat will stand up to the demands of the harness during heavy breaking or an accident than go for it.
Call the manufacturer. I'm sure they'd be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have.
