Took my son to school in the 46 this morning and noticed a real strong gas smell. When I got home, I found my fuel pump to have gone bad, with gas squirting out of the bottom half/on the side.
Since I'm gonna be replacing it anyway (now) I was wondering... Is it worth the extra expense to go to a dual action fuel pump?
I plan on keeping the vaccum wipers, as I've not found anyone that makes a 6-volt wiper motor that will swap straight across for a 46. I really don't want to hack up the wiper motor cover on the header.
Any of you had any experience with these dual action pumps, or had any luck finding a good 6-volt electric unit?
