I am not real familiar with the early Stovebolts, but I have been told that 1937 was the first year for the 216. Link to some information on the early Stovebolts. There is probably not much interchangeable between the 1936 207 (if it still has the original engine) and a 216, as the 207 had a three-main bearing crankshaft. At least they did in 1934 . Hoyt | | |
