carolines truck, please keep me posted i have a 49 gmc suburban it has a running 248 engine, with a t-5 (s-10) and a 8.8 disc rearend 3:27 ratio. then the 248 dies i have a 292 to install. you can make a horseshoe u mount for the front under the crank pulley, to front mount it, like the original mount.
