It won,t be too hard to get back on. Put a little grease on the splines. You won,t hurt anything tapping it on as long as you don,t mushroom the holes for the u-joint bolts. If you get it on far enough to get a few treads you can pull it in with the nut. You will need a large socket I believe 1 9/16.
