Ok so i drove my buddies wrangler the other day. 5 speed, 4.0 liter straight six, small tires. I got on the interstate i realised the acceleration after 50 mph is barely noticeable (i even dropped a gear!) with my foot on the floor. It probably took 30 seconds to hit 70 mph from 50. My question is, how in the name of god can my old rattlebang truck with its little 250 accelerate hella lot faster than that and can actually hit 90 mph (haven't tried goin faster, but i could)??? I would also like to know how my truck should do on towing. I think i have a 3.73 diff but im not sure (how do i check?) and the only thing ive towed with my truck is a 19 ft. center console boston whaler, but i had my parking brake on so i cant really judge how good i pulled it. One last question, does anyone roughly know how much my truck would weigh? '65 C10 Stepside SWB 250 I6.
