I had a hard time with the Jim Carter one, it requires a water ammonia mixture to get it to bend. The idea is to get the back wet with the mixture, form it, get in the truck and mounted before it starts to dry out. I ran into trouble at the form it stage! My next attempt was to use a thinner card board from a local upholstery shop, it was a lot cheaper and way easier to use. It still didn't bend 100% but was way better then the first one. I see why most guys cover theres, mine has small cuts in the rear most corners where it wouldn't bend all the way. They don't show much, and unless you look for them, you wouldn't see them.
You might look into the fiberglass headliners, I haven't seen one installed so I don't know how they look, but I have read they go in real easy. Joe
