the oil filter setup is 1". for now i will leave it till i figure out where i will have the best access and clean up mounting spot.
there is a large spin on fuel filter and factory setup post fuel pump and there is a small 5/16" off the shelf fuel filter pre pump. you can see it sitting on top of the motor in both pics.
what i would like to find is the air shut off that it is supposed to have, my inlet looks just like it but its not. i have a huge 8v71 90* 6"diam but i think it looks mhe:/.
one of the tstat housing got broken when the motor go tipped years ago, my buddy didnt have the other on hand. the pipes were setup strictly for stand running and are there just to keep the highest possible water level, they are not permenent.
i was able to get it out, i had to take the trans off and with my lift as high as it would go i had to roll the stand out of the back of the truck and out from underneath the motor. once the stand was off i had all the weight and it held fine, it just wouldnt go any higher to pick it off the stand. the top of the motor from the ground was over 7'.
