The last time I checked, I was getting over 20 mpg in my 1960 with a 235. It has highway gears and cruses along easy at 55 to 65 mph. I was shocked when I first bought the truck, I expected around 14 mpg. (The day I checked we were driving mainly interstate highways, as an overall average I'm sure it's less than 20 mpg.)
