| | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 223 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 223 | On my 50 261 4sp, I heard the ratta tat tat of something being thrown around in my bell housing. Took the lower cover off and a chewed up 1" long, 1/4 in diameter hunk of metal rod fell out. I believe that this was a weight tack welded to the clutch cover/pressure plate and assume it was for balancing such. Can I run without this? Or should I bite the bullet and take out my fairly new clutch assembly and either have it balanced or replace it? Thanks in advance,
