There is no thermostat installed on the 51 chevy firetruck's 235 engine. Did all trucks come with one? There is no defroster/heater on this truck either. From the firewall layout, it appears there never were heather hoses going through the firewall to the interior. So given all that, do I need a thermostat and what tempature should it be if I need one?
