| | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 55 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 55 | I'm re-doing a '57-235 that will eventually replace the one in my '52 daily driver.The filter sump had a 1/2 pound of sludge in it which had anchored the wrong filter FIRMLY inside! It's clean now! Napa ordered correct filter. Unit feeds oil thru top inlet, and after passing thru sidewall of filter and thru the 3/32 hole in vertical shaft, exits out bottom. Has anyone ventured to add additional holes to increase oil flow? I'm considering doing that, or shouldn't I go there? | | |
