OK ya'll I've been thinking, I know I should try and avoid this, it always seems to cost money. I have this 1952 burb that was formerly a billboard for a scrapbook store. When I removed the decals it left a distinct outline of the letters on the side and rear. It really bothers me and I was thinking of a cool way of covering it up / disguising it. So here is my question: Does anyone have any suggestions on covering up this faded paint?
I know I could cover it up with color matched paint. This seems logical but, I'm concerned with trying to match and quality etc.
Here is what got me thinking today, I was in In and Out Burger today and was looking through their catalog and i came across
this ,and I thought how cool it would be for me to be able to apply a decal for the side and back of my
burb with a "woody" decal like I've seen on PT cruisers. So, would any other burb owners be interested in this or would anyone have any experience with something like this.
I told you when I start thinking it gets expensive!
